Method: Installing and configuring STB Emulator app

Instructions:

  1. Go to the Google Playstore on your device and install the STB Emulator app. There is a Pro version that costs $7.49 (CAD) and a free version (contains adds).
  2. Once you open the app, you should be directed to a grey greeting page. At the bottom left hand corner press configure.
  3. You will be directed to the settings page. Select Profiles.
  4. Select New Profile.
  5. You will be directed to the Profile Settings page. Please select Portal Settings.
  6. Select Portal URL
  7. Delete the URL that is already entered there and replace it with URL (provided in your email)
  8. Head back to Profile settings. Select STB Configuration
  9. Select MAC Address
  10. Please provide us with the MAC address that you see here. We will not be able to activate your service until you have provided this to us.
  11. Back out of all the menu pages
  12. Click on the top right-hand corner of the main screen. A blue circular icon should appear. Once you click on it a grey drop down menu will appear.
  13. Go to Profiles
  14. Select the Profile that is there, wait for the service to load.

Common Troubleshooting Errors:

  1. If you followed all the steps above, and on the main screen it asks you for a login & password it can mean two things.
    • We have not yet activated your subscription – we most likely are waiting for you to send us your MAC address as we generally activate subscriptions within 30 minutes
    • Your subscription is active, but you haven’t rebooted your device for it to take effect. Please go to Settings – Profiles – Select Profile
  2. Host not found error message. This message most likely means that you typed the URL (provided in your email) into the internal portal rather than Portal URL. Another issue may be poor internet connection. Ethernet connection may fix this issue.
  3. If you get a message that “STB has been blocked” it means that your subscription has expired or we have not yet activated it.
  4. If you get a message that states firmware outdated, this most likely means that you have entered the Portal URL incorrectly.

Amazon Fire stick

Method: Install & configure STB Emulator App

Instructions:

  1. Go to the Amazon app store and download an app called “Downloader”.
  2. Go to your Device Settings – Developer Options – Enable Apps from Unknown Sources
  3. Type URL https://wetechtv.com/downloads/stbpro.apk to download the “STB Emulator App” from the “Downloader App”.
  4. Once the app has been downloaded, follow these set of instructions.

 

  1. Open the STB Emulator App.
  2. You should be directed to a grey Greeting Page. At the bottom left hand corner press Configure.

  12. Click on the top right hand corner of the page. There is a transparent icon located there to open a settings page. May take some guesswork to find icon.
  13. Go to Profiles
  14. Select Profile

Common Troubleshooting Issues:

Apple TV

Method: Install & Configure StalkerTV App

Instructions:

  1. Download and Install the StalkerTV App from the App Store (costs $6.99)
  2. Once you’ve purchased a subscription and advised us that you are using an Apple device – We will send you a Username & Password
  3. Enter URL (provided in your email). under Portal URL
  4. Same set of instructions will work for iPhone & iPad

 

Currently, we do not support iPlay or other methods of activation for Apple devices (as of Oct 2018).

BUZZ TV

Method: Enter our URL

Instructions:

  1. Go to settings
  2. Select Servers
  3. Enter our URL (provided in your email)
  4. Provide us with your MAC address 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX

DREAMLINK

Method: Install & configure Dream Online 2 App

Instructions:

  1. From the App Market, Install the Dream Online app (DOL2)
  2. Open the App and select “Edit Portal”
  3. Enter URL (provided in your email) in the Portal URL section
  4. Provide us with your MAC address 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX

Common Troubleshooting Issues:

  1. If you get an Log In error it means there is a discrepancy in the MAC address you provided for us

Formuler Z7 Box

Method: Configure MyTV Online app

Instructions:

  1. From the home screen, select the My TV Online app
  2. Select Portal
  3. Select Portal URL and enter URL (provided in your email)
  4. Provide us with your MAC address 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX

Common Troubleshooting Issues:

  1. If you get some sort of Time Zone error please email us and we’ll do our best to help fix the issue

MAG IPTV Boxes - Informir

Method: Configure the settings of your device

  1. Restart the MAG Box
  2. Once the loading screen shows up. Click and hold menu button ( three lines ), placed below OK button on the left hand side
  3. Click on System Settings
  4. Then select Servers and click Portals
  5. Bring up the keyboard by click keyboard button on Remote ( by clicking the keyboard button again, you can get out of the keyboard displayed on screen )
  6. Enter the portal name ( your choice ) and portal url ( as provided ) and save the options by pressing OK button

 

Instructions:

  1. Select Settings
  2. Select Server Settings
  3. Select Servers
  4. Enter our URL (provided in your email)
  5. Provide us with your MAC address 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX
  6. Select Restart Server

Common Troubleshooting Issues:

  1. If you get a loading screen it means that we have not yet activated your subscription OR there is a discrepancy in the MAC address you provided to us.

SMART TV (SAMSUNG or LG)

Method: Install and configure SMART STB App

Instructions:

  1. Go to your SMART TV app store and install the “SMART STB” app
  2. Go to device settings and take note of your System MAC Address and give the Virtual MAC address to your IPTV Provider
  3. Head to the website https://smart-stb.net
  4. Purchase the service and register the Software MAC address on the website
  5. Enter Portal URL (provided in your email)
  6. Under Portal Settings on the “SMART STB” app enter URL (provided in your email)
  7. Select the TVZON portal you just created & wait for the service to load.

Common Troubleshooting Issues:

  1. If you get a black screen and the server doesn’t load, please double check the URL and make sure it is entered correctly. If the problem persists please contact support at https://smart-stb.net and see what they say. It is not uncommon that an issue stems from their service.
  2. If you get a message that says “STB Blocked” or “Firmware needs to be updated” most likely you have entered the incorrect URL.
  3. If you get an authentication screen asking for a login & password, that usually means we haven’t activated your service yet or the virtual MAC address you provided us was incorrect.
  4. If for some reason, your Virtual & System MAC address’ are the same. Contact support at https://smart-stb.net and have them change it.

Microsoft Windows OS

Method: Install and configure SMART STB App

Instructions:

  1. Download “Bluestacks” through the internet
  2. Follow all prompts & instructions to Install the software
  3. Login using your Google Account
  4. Download “STB Emulator” app via Google Playstore
  5. Follow Instruction set for Android device found here.

How to find a MAC address

  1. Open/enter STB Emulator
  2. Hold the select or okay button
  3. Select settings
  4. Visit profiles
  5. Select Profile
  6. Select STB configuration
  7. Scroll down to MAC address

Amazon Fire Stick

  1. Go to settings
  2. Select My device
  3. Go to developer options
  4. Enable Ask from unknown sources
  5. Enable EDB debugging
  6. Go back and download STB Emulator from URL http://iptv-go.com/stbpro.apk

  1. Open/enter STB Emulator
  2. Hold the select or okay button
  3. Select settings
  4. Visit profiles
  5. Select Profile
  6. Select STB configuration
  7. Scroll down to MAC address

Buzz TV

  1. Open Buzz TV app
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Server
  4. Select server name from last side menu
  5. MAC address will popup on right hand side

MAG devices

In order to find the MAC address of your MAG box, simply turn the box around and you can find the MAC address on the backside of your device. The Mac address starts with 00:1A:79 and the rest of the numbers and characters are exclusive to each box.
